Growth Capital Partners, L.P. Announces the Acquisition
of ECP Tech Services, Inc.

Houston, TX (May 2008) – Growth Capital Partners, L.P. (“GCP”), a Houston-based investment and merchant banking firm, today announced that ECP Tech services, Inc.(“ECP”) has been acquired by Schneider Electric, SA.  This transaction adds to GCP’s resume of industrial services advisory work as well as its list of transactions involving high-profile, publicly-traded foreign buyers.  GCP served as exclusive financial advisor to ECP and the terms of the transaction were undisclosed.
