GROWTH CAPITAL PARTNERS IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT JOHN J. BRESNAHAN III HAS JOINED THE FIRM AS MANAGING DIRECTOR

Houston, TX, June 29, 2010 – Mr. Bresnahan joined Growth Capital Partners in June 2010 as Managing Director of the Firm's Energy Practice based in the Houston office. In addition to focusing on the origination and execution of transactions, Mr. Bresnahan will be responsible for facilitating the Firm's relationships with private equity groups.

Prior to joining Growth Capital Partners, Mr. Bresnahan was co-head of Energy Practice at Edgeview Partners, a Charlotte, NC based middle market investment bank. Mr. Bresnahan focused primarily on providing M&A advisory services and raising capital for private and public oilfield and industrial service providers and equipment manufacturers.

From 2003 to 2008, Mr. Bresnahan was with Harris Williams & Co., a middle market investment bank based in Richmond, VA. At Harris Williams & Co., Mr. Bresnahan provided M&A and related strategic advisory services for both private and public clients across a range of different industries including energy and power, industrial services and manufacturing, building products, consumer products, healthcare, transportation and logistics, and business services.

Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co. in 2003, Mr. Bresnahan worked as an Associate in the Global Industrial and Communications Group at Merrill Lynch, as an Operations Consultant with Andersen Consulting, and as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Mr. Bresnahan graduated from Cornell University receiving a B.S. degree in Applied Economics and Management.
